So, who are FivePoint Arcade? We are five Game Design students at the University of the Sunshine Coast who have joined forces for our culminating game project. Our idea actually started as two completely separate games: A circus-themed game featuring an Elephant named Eric, and a game that educates pre-school aged children how to identify and avoid ads and unintentional in-app purchases. The two concepts were eventually combined, and Peanut Gallery was the result. We have used all of the skills and knowledge that we have gained throughout our learning journey at UniSC to create a fun and informative game that teaches young children how to navigate around ads while playing as Eric, the peanut-shooting circus elephant.
